MAhakali is the Hindu goddesss or devi of death.
kali is an incarnation of parvati,wife of the lord Shiva. She is also known as Chaturbhuja kali or kaushika.She has four hands , neclace of head , skirts of arms , lolling tongue and brandishing a knife dripping with blood.
IN this idol , she is carving beautifully in shinning brass.
